Our latest project is the Modkat twin-boom pusher. The project has been in development for quite some time and has just entered the prototyping phase. Once testing is complete, the kit will go into full production and be available to the public.
The Modkat was engineered using the very latest 3D CAD software. The kit will be composed of both fiberglass and balsa/ply components. All wood components will be laser cut to within 0.005" to insure proper fit. The fuse and booms will be made out of fiberglass with balsa and ply reinforcements. The booms will also be shipped fully assembled and will only require the builder to paint his/her desired color scheme. The wings and stabilizer are constructed using the traditional build-up approach with balsa/ply. A detailed vacuum formed cockpit kit is also in the works for the Modkat.
The kit pricing has not yet been finalized. A Modkat waiting list has been instituted and those on the list will be notified when their kit is ready for shipment (please include your name & and an alternate email address). The list order will be on a first come first served basis. I'm in the service and my hours are hectic, so please be patient. I will respond as soon as possible.
